Founder & President

Mario J. Gangemi, P.E. | Engineer, Coach, Success Consultant

After a rewarding career in the engineering and construction industry, and over two decades of coaching youth and high school sports, Mario has launched a leadership and team coaching venture. Drawing from the life lessons and successes of both fields, he now helps others build positive leadership habits and cultivate a strong team culture.

Mario spent the majority of his professional life as a geotechnical engineer, serving in both technical and leadership capacities. He successfully led large, profitable teams and earned recognition through service on numerous technical and business committees and boards. He currently serves on a Governor-appointed State-level board.

Throughout his engineering career, Mario mentored colleagues not only in technical expertise but also in fostering productive, values-based teamwork. He emphasizes starting at "the root"—training, mentoring, and personal development—to ultimately grow "the fruit": increased retention, higher productivity, improved quality, and greater profitability.

Mario’s athletic foundation began with a deep passion for wrestling, which taught him grit, perseverance, and discipline. He also competed in football, track, and soccer, honing leadership and motivational skills that extended well into his collegiate wrestling and cross-country experience.

As an active adult, Mario remains committed to physical fitness. He holds a Black Belt in Taekwondo and has completed races ranging from 5Ks to 20-mile runs, with a marathon in his sights.

Over several decades, Mario has coached youth and high school athletes across multiple sports—including boys’ and girls’ lacrosse (K–12), football, basketball, and karate (for both children and adults). Several of his athletes have advanced to compete in collegiate sports (Divisions I through III) and at the professional level.

Mario's coaching philosophy is grounded in developing individuals to succeed not just in competition, but in life. This aligns seamlessly with the Jon Gordon Company’s principles of positive leadership. As a Certified Jon Gordon Trainer, Mario focuses on Mindset, Leadership, and Teamwork.
